Mohawk Finishing Products China offers the same professional wood touch up and repair, leather touch up and repair workshops and complete selection of quality touch up and repair products as Mohawk US. Our training classes are designed to address some of the unique characteristics of finishes for the Chinese market as well as traditional finish and leather repair. Our 5 day Professional wood and leather training workshops are held monthly in our Shanghai training facility.  You can choose to attend 3 days of wood repair & touch up followed by 2 days of leather repair training or attend the 3 day wood or 2 day leather training separately.  Please contact the Mohawk China customer service staff or visit the Mohawk China website at www.mohawk-finishing.com.cn for more information and registration details. 

Our experienced instructors will work with each student to insure that upon completion of the 5 day workshop they will have achieved the repair techniques needed to enhance your business.

Completion certificate will be sent to every one after workshop.

Workshop Curriculum includes:

Wood Touch-Up & Repair- 3 Day

• Damage Analysis & Repair Preparation
• Filling of Damages: Learn how to repair dents, gouges, deep scratches, burn marks, broken corners and edges
• Color & Grain Replacement: Learn color matching principles, primary and secondary colors, effects of white and black in colors, color intensity levels, and earth tones

Sheen adjustment: Learn how to use Mohawk’s variety of aerosols including clear topcoat, sanding sealers and sheen adjusters along with sandpaper and compounds to remove scratches, raise sheen, lower sheen, match sheens and bring a dull finish to life

Leather Touch-Up & Repair- 2 Day

• Leather Identification: Understanding the different types of leather is essential to leather care, touch-up & repair
• Learn how to repair cuts, scrapes, scratches, scuffs, burns, holes, cracks and abrasions
• Learn the proper techniques for coloring and sheen matching
• Finish Care & leather restoring
